The payment timeline needs fixing
S
Shalom Karunwi
Its four months into the post-Cirro era and personally, payments are now slower than ever. More often than not, freelancers get paid bi-weekly, and if payments are going to be monthly the expectation is that they come in swiftly to accommodate the wait-time. Last year it was a lot faster than it is now. Here's what I propose:
The payments request window should last a maximum of 3 days (10 days to initiate a payment request is quite unnecessary).
Payments should be sent on the 15th of every month and the wait period to receive payment should be from the 15th - 23rd of the same month.
Currently we work for 30 days and receive payments after another 21(+/- 9) days.
This proposed timeline shaves off at least a week off of that without any dramatic disruptions to the current system.

Test IO payment is too slow. Let's make a request from the 1st to the 5th of the month and start sending payment from the 6th of the month. This also gives tester-like me opportunities to hunt more bugs

Test IO payment is so slow and frustrating, testers should be allowed to request between 1st and 2nd of the next month and receive payment on 3rd-4th of the next month..
Waiting till on the 19th is so frustrating

Shalom Karunwi Thank you for your suggestion.
I think that the process of optimizing payments is still underway, and maybe we will have the opportunity to request payment withdrawals 2 times a month. But in general this is a problem only for novice testers. For testers who have been working for a long time, this will not bring any significant changes. I judge by myself, since the change in the payment provider shifted the receipt of payment by 3-4 days, but it still happens monthly.

AV-Master I appreciate your reply.
With the new payment provider, a faster system was promised. However, it seems to have regressed and 3-4 days does make a difference to some people as each individual is different. Personally speaking, I get payments a week later now. The process of setting up payments twice a month will probably take a considerable amount of time to implement, this at least speeds things up without any significant changes.

The solution of this "complete feedback" https://feedback.test.io/testers/p/please-adjust-the-date-at-which-payments-will-be-processed-to-a-sooner-date
Unfortunately, it wasn't what we expected. Even though there will be no quite difference in monthly cycle payment (~30 days). But we look at this matter on how long the time we receiving the payment from the time we proceeded it in Cirro. Or
how long the time we'll be appreciated from our works
. Freelance salary in the first place has already uncertain. In which more ideally we receive the payment more than once a month though (I heard test IO had plan for this). But shorten the payment request first now would a good motivation for us, and our life.Tetiana Yezerska

Earlier it was used to 20 now it's not even fixed. Make payment of previous month on 10th directly.

Improve the payment system for withdrawals on the platform

I feel that the payment system is too time consuming for testers to get paid. I am opening this feedback because the friends that I referred didn't feel very encouraged to work for almost two months to receive their first payment, which still couldn't be much, because of their lack of experience. Besides being paid once a month, sometimes the payment is also delayed, which can be desperate for some people who depend on the payment to pay some bills
Being paid once a month I believe is too little, and my feedback is that it should be possible to increase it to at least two withdrawals a month, which would be another positive point for the platform to attract more people's attention, instead of being a negative point that can make people choose other testing platforms for this reason.
Moreover, as another way to solve this problem is the time between requesting the payment and it falling into the account, which is also a long wait, which also might not be. Thank you

Hello I also agree with the feedback, I have been working for 1 year and 6 months on the platform, and this to my point of view, has always been a negative point, because when you work an entire month, and know that you will only receive that money at the end of the next month, it is kind of discouraging, I believe that if you implement a new option to withdraw twice in, or decrease the waiting time for the withdrawal, the testers will be more excited to work, and consequently you improve this negative point, making more testers, become interested in the platform.
