Allow .mov file to be uploaded and also increase the maximum size allowed of the attachment file
Adrian Abasllari
As a recent Apple user,I have two problems:
1- When I edit the screenrecorder that I want to upload as attachment in my bug,it becomes a .mov file and I am unable to upload it as the .mov format is not allowed.I have to convert file from .mov in .mp4 which results in more time on reporting a bug.
2-Many screenrecord that I record with the my Iphone recorder, exeed 25MB (espetially when the video is >25s),so I need to compress the file in order to upload as attachment. This also happens when I use an external camera even in my Android device.
I suggest to increase the allowed maximum size of file into 50 MB and also the file format .mov to be allowed in order of uploading screenrecords from Iphone.

Hi Markus Naumann thank you for your message.I know that the buld-in screenrecorder produces .MP4 video files. But I still struggle when it comes to .MOV files. If I need to edit the screenrecord I made or I have to record an external video from my Apple device, the produced video will still be in .MOV format. So I either need to go in an external page to convert my screencast from .MOV to .MP4 format or I just need to create a new video with my buld-in recorder or with another device from the external video. That's why I made this suggestion and I still it is valid.

Hi Adrian Abasllari,
We have investigated your ticket further and I want to share the results with you.
When you use the built-in screen recorder on your iPhone, it produces MP4 files that you can upload to your bug reports easily, without the need to convert them manually.
This built-in is accessible via the control center. If you don't find the feature in the control center, you can activate it via Settings > Control Center.
In case this screen recorder feature produces a MOV file instead, you can once again change the settings to create MP4 files instead. For that, go to Settings > Camera > Formats > "High compatibility" (instead of "High efficiency").
Adrian Abasllari Please try these steps and let us know if you still face this issue.
As of now, it seems we do not need to allow MOV files to be uploaded.

Hi Adrian Abasllari. Thank you for your suggestion.
Most likely, files with the mov extension are not played on all devices in the web interface, so uploading them is prohibited.
But it would be nice to increase the size of the uploaded files. Sometimes we need to upload files larger than 25MB, and compressing files often significantly degrades the quality.
